| How to select good polished tile |
1¡¢Firstly, observe the degree of color uniformity and the smooth of surface. Randomly select 4-5 pcs bricks from one carton, wear glasses( you can quit this step if your sight is above 1.5), and check out whether there is any defect, including color aberration, distortion or lack of some angles.
2¡¢Secondly, softly knock one brick with a hard stuff, the clearer it sounds, the glazer the brick as well as the quality. Or you can hold an angle of one brick with your thumb, forefinger and middle finger of your left hand, softly knock the middle and bottom part of the brick with another hand¡¯s forefinger, if the sound¡¯s clear and sweet, that¡¯s ok. Or else, the sound¡¯s dull and broing, that¡¯s bad.
3¡¢Thirdly, drop a colorful water (eg.ink) onto one brick, wait a minute, then clean the water with a wet stupe. If the brick absorb the ink, there will be a mark, or there is no mark on it, that means this brick is antiflouring, easy-cleaning and with good quality.
4¡¢Fourth, use band tape to measure the size of every porcelain. If the edge length of the brick has a high definition, that means when the bricks are used, the final effect will be perfect. So when we choose porcelain tile with good quality, we can not only do the construction easily, but also save time and material.
5¡¢Fifth, take 2 bricks and hold one brick to scratch the other one, then observe the broken position of each brick. If the break is close, firm as well as a mark, this brick is a better one, or else, the break is loose, hard as well as some powder. A good porcelain should have strong hardness, good tenacious and not easy broken.
